CDM 1550 ls+ Help

Heres a brain teaser for you.

have a cdm 1550 ls+ worked fine. One day I turned on the power supply and the cdm made the programming beep and shut off. ever since the radio will only tuen on if the ignition wire is hooked up to a power source and the backlit wont work, I tried multiple other heads and still nothing. Any suggestions?
