I recently bought a spectra mobile with sys 9K box attached off of fleabay and am having some trouble figuring it all out......( I have yet to read them or have them read)
Apparently the spectra (T44KXA7A9AK) is a 45W UHF mobile w/ securenet.........however im unable to locate any information on the sys 9K......the ID number i have from it is M01UJM6PW6BN...
Any ideas on what this is.....Buehler.....Buehler?
The seller advised that it MAY be a VHF unit, as the equipment the items were removed from had both UHF and VHF radios in it......
Any insights are appriciated!

The ID number i posted was wrong......the ID on the sys 9K is REALLY T04KEA3006BASP0Z

The revised model number T04KEA3006BASP0Z - the last character is probably the digit 2. This makes it a Special Purpose (SP) model radio, meaning it's non-standard in some way. That could be anything from an extra screw to unique firmware to an additional wire somewhere on the control board.
Information on SP products is usually hard or impossible to come by. I don't have any further info to provide; hopefully someone else can shed some light.

What you have is a standard Spectra version of a Vehicle Repeater System (VRS).

T04KEA3006BASP02 breaks down to a Spectra UHF VRS using the RNET SLM radio. The manuals are here:

(look for VRS). Sorry the prices are old and out of date. The manuals may or may not still be available from Motorola?
Unless you already know the VRS frequency, you will need to open it up and find the chassis number on the RNET radio to figure out the VRS band split. Then you will have to read the frequencies off the crystals and use the formulas in the RNET manual. (or just key it up on a dummy load using a service monitor with a calibrated spectrum analyzer, etc.).
The RNET SLM is a crystaled radio. The crystals are selected for temperature stability with the frequency formula and tune-up procedure is in the 6880901Z35 manual. If you are not familiar with re-crystaling a radio then you should have a shop do it. Everything else except the operating frequency programs using the RSS.
The VRS was designed to cross band, so you should not have a UHF VRS with a UHF Spectra unless the Spectra mobile band split and VRS band split are totally different.
If you also have the Siren/PA unit, the VRS is picky about how its hooked up to the Spectra.
