CDM 1250 Audio

Post by ffldcapt »

Have recently taken over work at a Sheriff's Dept. that is using CDM1250's. They are having problems (more than once now) of radio receive going "dead". They hear traffic on a portable, turn the CDM off and back on and it comes through. Has anyone run into this, got any ideas?

What firmware are the radios loaded with? Knowing what firmware you have in the radio may help.

I am not sure of the firmware at this time, the radios are VHF and the antenna is located on the trunk lid in the center. It is several different radios with the problem. I think in the area of 5 or 6 at this time. The scan is single priority with about 10 channels in list. The radios are approximately 3 years old.
