MTS2000 gang charger question

I have a gang charger for the MTS2000 portables that is not working correctly. When you place a battery into any of the cups, the three LEDs light in sequence (yellow-red-green) and then the red begins to flash.

I have given the board a good looking-over, and can not see anything burnt or missing; what are some of the common causes of failure among the Motorola gang chargers? The CHIPs; the power transisters?

with how manny batteries did you try it?

normaly red flasing means that the battery isnt OK.
