Help Ht1000 Re-Casing

Help Ht1000 Re-Casing

Hi Mabey you experts can Help me out on a very simple problem.

I have a group of HT-1000s which need to be Re-Cased, Simple Right!

Wrong bought a few housings some with the guts and one with just the plastic houseing. Seems that after I Re-Cased the raio I have no Audio, Put the old Case Back in and it works ok.

Any one have any Suggestions ?

I'll guess its the flex, no audio? check path to spk. Are these new cases?
and are the guts, new? used?

That was the weird thing, when one case was swapped off one radio onto another one no audio. put back to the original radio it worked fine again.
the flex was checked and all looked good in fact I double checked that thinking it was the original problem.
