hello...i have a MTS2000 that is prog. with DOS. and i have windows CPS
verision i have is R01.13.00
and now the question

1 will i be able to prog. it with CPS after i get a REBLESS cable?

yes you can use your cps but once you write to the radio with the cps you won't be able to use any dos rss anymore unless you have a saved codeplug.

Actually, if you read it in lab and save the S-Record without opening it or touching it, you can then open the same un-touched S-record in the "proper" RSS (probly 06.07 like most of us have) and force it in.

Altho I have not done this, I'm told it works.

... How about cloning? Couldn't ya just clone a codeplug into it?

Unless it takes the code plug version in to account - as long as it gets matching model information, there shouldn't be an issue.
