Dude.......

A codeplug is the data that the software encodes the data from programming into a code the radio understands. Basically it is what you program into the radio. This is used by all computer programmable radios, including the MT2000.

MT2000s are NOT flashport radios, therefore there are no flashcodes, an MT2000 is an MT2000, you cant flash it for MDC decode or anything like that, if you need flashport options go wit an MTS-2000

The software is MTS/X RSS, you can only use the DOS version this radio is not CPS compatable.(Remember NO want to buy, for sale, trade, etc... ads for software, RSS)

The firmware will show up when you put it into service mode (pressing the side button above the PTT 5 or 6 times right after you power the radio up and it goes through self test)

The firmware is the version of the controller board in the radio, the version depends on when it was made or last updated.

As carlos mencia would say

"DEE DEE DEE"

Sorry, If I'm out of line, it was too tempting.

Try to word your posts more clearly and give more details about what you are talking about. Also do a search on the board, the questions you are asking are very basic and im sure you could start understanding things if you read around a bit.
