Is there a way to add channels to my scan list that are on different systems and/or personalities?
I have several channels that I need to scan that are in different systems and I can't figure out how to add them into the scan list.
I can only add channels that are on the same system and the same personality.
Any help would be appreciated.

What is the model# of your radio, and also what is the firmware version? I have programmed lots of MTS2000 radios which scan across systems...in fact I don't recall ever running into a problem where I couldn't. No special tricks, just choose "talk group" for the scan type, and then choose the channels according to zone/channel assignment.

There are three types of scan lists:
Priority Monitor: limited to 1 trunked "system"; permits priority.
Talkgroup: permits mix of trunked talkgroups, including from different "systems" and conventional channels; no priority.
Conventional: conventional channels only.
For each scan list, you can define what type of scan list it is.
Note that it is inherent in trunked scanning that, if you scan across "systems," you will miss a lot of traffic--even if the radio is audio "quiet." The reason is that the radio can "scan" only one trunked "system" at a time, and it will park on the control channel for X period of time until it fails to get an OSW for one of your scan list members. All the while, any traffic on any other system, and any other conventional channels, will be missed.
For this reason, we limit trunked scanning to "Priority Monitor" in the public safety field.
