Visar Type Two programming software

Post by chris S »

Hello,
Was wondering if someone Knowledgeable would be able to enlighten me as to the correct name of the Programming Software that would apply to a Visar H05WCD4CB1 Trunking Radio ?
After searching i find that it would appear that it would go under the name of Visar PP, but after looking i have been unable to find any reference to it under this name.
I suspect that there may be another version that is intended for an alternative Motorola Model that would apply to the Trunking Visar but i am still none the wiser as to it's Title or version.
If anyone happens to know the answer, ( if there is one ) i would be very grateful for any info as to it's identity.

All replies gratefully received.

Regards,

Chris S.

Visar PP (Privacy Plus) is correct.

Beware, that B1 is capable of Type I trunking only, no Type 2, no conventional. You'd need a B4 for T2 or Conventional. Making it a paperweight pretty much.

Thank you very much for that, Gentlemen.
It's looking like it might not be such a Good idea after all, especially if there are no Conventional Channels allowed.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
