JT1000 "0" Button Beeps

Post by Rayjk110 »

On my UHF JT1000, the "0" button will make the "high" pitched beep (similar to that of the power-up beep) when pressed. The next time you press it, it makes the "low' pitched quick beep. (Like if you try to TX on a TX Inhibit channel). This alternates, IE the first time I press it, I get the high beep, the second time, a low beep, so on and so forth.

It would seem like the "0" button has an option mebey programmed to it? But not that I can see in the RSS anywhere. It is not interfering with the Menue button directly below it in any way or making sticky contact with it causing it to do this.

Any Ideas? :-?
