I have a working Saber1, 403 to 430. I find that the receiver is only doing about 10 Microvolts for 20db. I have another Saber1 that is in the split of 440 to 470Mhz and with the same check I find it is approx. .3 Microvolts for 20db.
Is there anyway of tuning one of these radios? If the answer is yes, where do I find the procedure.
Poor receive sensitivity Saber1

HI
No real way of tuning the Saber Series Radios.
You may have a Bad Module / or a Combination
of Incorrect ones.
Only Real Adjustments are for the Transmitter
output and Deviation limits along with receiver
Squelch settings
You might try changing out the Module
that controls the Antenna Switching. I have
been seeing alot of those going bad.
Sometimes will effect transmitter performace
as well.

Saber RF measurement
Hi Monty - is it possible to measure the RF output of a Saber by attaching a threaded BNC adapter to the antenna connector ?
If not how would you be able to measure the RF out and RX sens on a Saber ?
