Prbolem with tk830

I know this is not a Motorola, but hopefully someone can help. I have re-programmed a tk730/830 set up, all went fine except, i have a short beep after programming and reattaching the mic, also the display flash's, i can push the group button and the beep goes off, but key the mic and the beep comes back, i programmed with KPG-7D. thanks

I believe the beep indicates VCO unlock... I know a double-beep on an x90 series mobile indicates the same. Does the radio receive/transmit OK?

IIRC, tvsjr is right... vco is unlocked. It's been a while since I had my 830 setup. Check over at http://www.radioinfoboard.com/
