ht 1250 scan capabilities.
I work for a radio shop that doesn't do a whole lot of motorola stuff and I'm trying to figure out if the HT-1250 can scan across zones or not. It looks like it may be possible but it seems more complicated than it needs to be. Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah and is there a way for the user to edit what it scans besides nuisance delete?

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
it's very simple and it can scan absolutely anything you want it to no matter where it's at

Well, let's be a bit more precise.
1. You can create multiple scan lists. There may be a limit, based on extent of available memory, but I've never encountered it and know no one who has. Each scan list has a number.
2. Each scan list may contain up to 16 defined members, or up to 15 defined members plus the currently selected channel. Members may be assigned from any zone.
3. Each channel has one scan list associated with it. That scan list will be used whenever that channel is selected and scan is invoked. A given scan list may be associated with any number of channels.
