I have Four Motorola Quantar Datatac DSSIII Stations

Needing help on getting thses 2 work as repeaters for a 6809 Smatnet trunking system for voice channels, Also Need to know if I can add 4 wire WIRELINE Cards to these stations any help would be appreciated

OF Course Motorola's answer was buy new stations

read the station and go into the hardware menu(F2)
From there you can change the configeration, however check that the exiter and the reciever are bulk standard (there is a sticky somewhere)
just add the 4 wire board from this screen. program it and then verify the cconfiguration

any chance of converting one of these stations to be an analog voice repeater; even with an external controller. I'm looking at the Nucleus paging mods and think that maybe this would be a good answer...

do the DSS-III's go out of band at all without too much complaining? Hoping to get some 900mhz datatac systems on the air on 900 mhz ham freq's.
