Moflags to Bitbanging

Post by bondo »

I would still like to find other useful memory locations for BITBANGing. I expect all the old MOFLAGs map to some location in the radio. I just don't know what they are.
Does anyone have a memory location breakdown of where other features are changeable using bitbanging software. I would like to add scan, MPL ,etc.. but only have access to lab with bitbanging..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

The MOFLAG string is together in a location on the MLM and the Command Board. Think of the MOFLAG string like a Flashcode. It tells the radio what options in the firmware that can be used and what can't be used. Just like flipping a set of dip switches.

What version of firmware is the MLM running?

Also, did this radio start out as a B2 or C2 model? Those won't scan no matter what you do to them with moflagging or bitbanging, without swapping MLMs.

Is there an easy way to tell the firmware, or do you need to read it off the mlm board ?

Thank's

Read it off the tag on the MLM.
