Quantar help.

Post by sledude »

Hi group, I need help with a quantar I have built out of pieces. The only problem I have is the control board, model TTN 4094. It came from a Astro TAC voting receiver, and was reprogrammed for a quantar repeater. The problem I have is that I cannot get the exciter to lock, due to the fact that it is missing exciter firmware in the diagnostics. Does anyone know whether this controller board is capable of adding the firmware, or do I have to get another controller board of a different part number? I am not asking where I can get the firmware, I just want to know where I can go from here? Also, I may be able to get a Quantro control board, can someone tell me if it will do P25 Astro? Thanks for your help.

I just took a look at the station and it seems I have controller board version R016.08.004 and using Win rss version R 14.02.01. I may be able to download a upgrade through The Motorola site using my password and RSS.

It would be helpful to know the part numbers on all the parts you used. Also that firmware is VERY old. Certainly not IMBE capable FYI.
