Programming Errors 01/82

FYI. I have found the problem that I was having with multiple errors, 01/82 in several XTS 5000's. It was the RKN4106A cable. It had an intermittent ground connection from one of the wires leading to the circuit board in the cable. It would work one time then not another. It would always read the radio but with numerous fails in programming it. Basically it was just and I do mean just hanging by one thread. It also appeared that there was a cold solder joint. If you are having similar problems, you may wish to check those connections. I have programmed several radios since this fix with absolutely no problems.
