CARLSON WIRELESS TRAILBLAZER LEASED LINE EMULATOR?

Post by FMROB »

Hello all, Hope everyone is doing well?

I am looking to go line of sight (>1/2 mile) and need to run a repeater, 2 base radios, and to switch a receptacle on/off. I am looking to use the 8 channel carslon wireless lease line emulator to do the wireless link between the HQ and and the radio sight.

A couple of question?

1)Has anyone used the carlson wireless equipment? Is there anything comparable that is a little cheaper on the market?

2) How can I have a cabinet door open alarm and control a relay to shut on/off the receptacle that the MTR is plugged into. Unfortunately I don't beleive that the MTR has setup-or knockdown in its internal controller, so I want the ability to shut it off and switch to the back up repeater locally at HQ's.

3) Any hints on equipment or setting this equipment up?

Thanks, Rob

The Carlson four wire with E&M modules on the Trailblazer should work fine for those applications. Talk to the sales guy about what you want and they can configure the card(s) for your applications. I have used them and they work. There are cheaper solutions-possible canopy with ip/voice routers for example, but the Trailblazer is quick and easy and they will do all configuration based on your needs. Good tech support also.
