Hey all.....I located an NTN1340C MoTor Vehicle Adaptor (AKA Convertacom) on ebay......The auction Stated that the Control Unit was
"Tanapa: NTN1325B, Model # N1671B and has Option Q150AA".
I know that some of the MTVA control units include an RF amp for a certain band and that some do NOT have this.....
Does anyone have any more information.......I am unable to locate anything here or on the net at large that would give me an answer.......Any help is appriciated.
Thanx!

The NTN1325B would be for 800mhz.
The amp receives it's power through a separate cable, so it may be possible to use a amplified unit as a non-amplified unit by leaving the amp power disconnected, and routing the antenna coax directly from the cradle, instead of through the amp. I'll look at the manual when I get home to see if there are any other internal connections.

It looks like it might work with the amp powered down, although there are a couple of sense leads that simply don't exist in the non-amplified version that would remain connected. not sure if they would present any problems.
