Console for 2000 Chevy Blazer

Post by fireballfwd »

Looking for a radio console to replace the stock armrest/console in a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4 door, 4x4.
Anyone have experience with a Jotto Desk model 425-6218 - (the 18" inch long slanted standard console) in a blazer?
Other than that, any advice on commercial consoles for a blazer would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think the standard consoles are too wide to fit in the blazer, depending on what radios and other equipment you are using mount them on the existing console. In my 99 I have a UHF Maxtrac on top of a pro2026 scanner and an A9 contol head with a DEK box all fastened direct to the factory console. I don't use the ashtray so it is up tight to it, I could get a plug into the lighter socket if I had to and the cup holder are lost with the A9. When I had an A7 head I was able to use the cup holders. I hope this helps in some way, feel free to e-mail or pm me if you have any questions.
Good Luck
