sp50 dual pl tone?
Does the Motorola sp50 accept a separate pl/dpl tone for transmit and receive or does it have to be the same?

Does PL/DPL right out of the box. No add on board needed. Unless you're talking about the P50 ?

Yes, you may have a different PL code for TX and RX on a per channel basis.

No. There is an add-on board to do 2 tone decode or if you add a DTMF front you can do DTMF ANI but that's about it. Pretty basic radio.
Re: sp50 dual pl tone?
I thought there was an add-on board to give the SP50 MDC capability?
And I have 2 of them that do DTMF PTT ID without a front keypad.

GP300 Battery status led???
Had one more question on the motorola commercial grade radios....
I know it is possible to have P1225's programmed so that when you transmit, the led instead of being steady red would actually light the color pertaining to the charge of the battery: green=full charge, yellow=medium??, and red=low batt.
Is it possible to have GP300 programmed this exact way also?
thanks

GP300's do not support the battery status indicator.
