Post by CyberSlicer »

Hi,
Does anyone know if the 2135 radio key will work with the MT1000 Convertacom?

Thanks,

Nope. The Genesis Converta Coms use the Mot1 key. It's actually the same cut as the 2135, but on a different blank.

Take a 2135 key, and a Cole CG6 blank. orient the keys so the center grooves are opposite each other. (when the key is cut, the cuts will align if the center grooves are facing each other) The result should be a MOT1 key.

When I bought my first X9000, i didn't have a 2135 yet, but I did have a MOT1.
