Hello,
I recently got a box of new old stock items. The part number is HHN4187A. There is a secondary part number on another contorl cable of HKN4187A. The item appears to be an external encryption box for the Syntor family of radios. It has a Syntor commector on the end of a control cable. The control cable goes to a metal box that has two toggle buttons that say "pvt" and "standard" transmitt. It has an LED indicator on the front that says "pvt recieve". There is a large female photo plug on the front face of the box.
There is a contol cable that comes from the metal box and goes to a plastic box that is about the size of a RIB. a third cable comes out of that box and terminates to a 1 inch round plastic commector that is female with a lot of pins. There are contol head green and red wires(power) coming from that connector.
I have no idea what the heck this thing is, i am assuming it is for a syntor. Any help in identfying would be helpful. I have pictures of it if anyone is interested in seeing them. You can email me at [email protected].
Thanks,
John
