Went to batteryzone.com well right on their main page. Colored housing for minitor V pagers. Appears to be front and back only 29.99!!!!!

Are these motorola OEM or knockoff's

The Minitor V is a Intrinsically Safe unit. I ASSUME you will loose that, and the MIL standard 810 E Procedures 1 for driving rain. I also assume it will void the warranty, just like a Moto cell phone with an A/M housing.

Yes, it will lose the IS rating, unless the new housing is FM approved and the exchange is performed by an FM repair facility. I note that their website does not make any mention of this little tidbit.

It will also definitely void the product warranty.
