Need some help with Spectra

Post by RadioNut »

I bought a Spectra but it needs a power cord. It appears to take the kind of 2-wire flat plug that a trailer light hook-up would use. Now obviously I know that would not handle the amperage of a 45w spectra but my question is if there is something at Rad Shack I could use to power this radio up in a higher gauge wire.

Thanks.

Remember to observe proper polarity.... the EXPOSED pin on the radio is + the shrouded pin is -.

Trailer plugs as they are called in the automotive industry are backwards..............
