MDC1200 Inhibiting
This is just a curious question, as I'm curious if some joker with access to a console decides to do it: Can a selective inhibit sent to FFFF kill all radios with MDC? And for that matter, can MDC inhibiting be reversed by simply writing in a codeplug before the radio was inhibited?

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
Re: MDC1200 Inhibiting
the simple answer is yes, somebody could do that, the long answer is that part needs to be enabled in the individual radios during programming. along with that a simplex or duplex system would be easier but for a trunked system they would need keys or access to the system. just writing a codeplug back with regular rss or cps will not fix the problem, it will need to go back to motorola or be un-inhibited by the console that inhibited it.

Re: MDC1200 Inhibiting
I could be wrong (has been known to happen) and I'm not anywhere near where I can look it up, but I have this recollection that says that for certain MDC commands wildcard values are not acceptable, and I believe radio inhibit and radio revive are amongst them.
