I'm sure this is a simple question for you Radio GuRus.
I have a Spectra D44KMA7JA5BK I bought a 25 pin male to 25 pin female cable from wiscomm just for the Spectra but I'm finding that there are two cables for this model high and low power. I connect the cable to 25 pin on the remote unit and I cannot talk to the radio through CPS. Do I need to use the DB 15 connector on the back of the remote unit with the other cable that I didn't buy?

Re: My RIB to Radio cable not working
You guessed it. The 15-pin connector is the programming port for the low power units.

Re: My RIB to Radio cable not working
If you have a trunk mount, low or med power, the radio can be programmed with both the rear DB15 and the
second front panel DB-25 cable connectors. I do it all the time. The internal connection to the radio have
both connector connections going to the same place.
If your DB25 programming cable is not working, I would check it out with the drawing on Batlabs for
the Spectra med and high power drawing.

I hope you meant RSS, since there is no CPS for Spectra.
