MCS2000 - Mode Select

Post by fire_marshal_bill_1075 »

OK, I figured out the new searh function but found no results. Here's the question: How do you program the channel that corresponds with the Mode Select Channel as assigned in the buttons menu?

As I understand the description in the field, it will allow you to program a button (MS1) to jump to a specific channel. Has anyone else used this or have any idea on how to program it.

This is on a Model II control head. Thanks in advance.

In the cps set the particular button you want to use for this feature to "MS1". There is no more that needs to be done in CPS.
Once you are done with programming and are using the radio in normal operation, go to the channel that you want it to be and press and hold that button until it beeps.

kinda like setting a pre-set in your AM/FM car radio.

SWEET! Thanks Andre. I knew it had to be simple but I was fried from a fire the night before and my mind was stuck. Appreciate the help.
