MSF5000 Combining TEE Duplexer

Post by w9sl »

Hi, I have an MSF5000 that was setup for the commercial bands and it has the GREEN Duplexer TEE intended for Tx < Rx. I'm putting this system in service but need the YELLOW Duplexer TEE designed for Tx > Rx.
Does anyone know how to convert or modify the cable lengths to make my GREEN the equivalent of a YELLOW, or does anyone have a YELLOW TEE that could provide the cable measurements?
Any help or advice would me appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Don, W9SL

My two bits worth:
I have tuned MSF repeaters with the original combining tee into the amateur band, "up side down" with good results.
Be very careful to properly load the antenna terminal, follow the manual.
I presently use a Motorola R2600B with tracking generator for the transmit filter alignment.
In the past I have used the Boonton RF milivolt meter as called out in the instructions, as well as a second analyzer, or a RF demod probe with good results: meets spec with no desense.
Aloha, Bernie
