XTS2500 Programming Help

Post by pluto1914 »

Hi...

I am new to the programming software for the XTS Portables...so here goes.

1. Home Mode...I have found the option to enable Home Channel Mode, I however cannot seem to locate where I would assign the function to a switch.

2. Keypad lock. I have enabled this as well. I would like the buttons to beep when they do something, also the keypad lock doesn't lock the side buttons or
the rotary knob. I enabled the rotary knob lock feature with no luck.

3. What is the point of the button the front of the radio that looks like a computer?

4. I'm sure I will think of some more.

Other than that great radio.

Thanks in advance guys.

Dave

The home feature goes to the front key with the little house on it.. Hence, the HOME key..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
