C++ Runtime Error...

Post by 6V6GT »

Suddenly, my AstroSpectra CPS and my XTS3000 CPS have stopped working. I get a C++ runtime error and "abnormal termination". I downloaded and installed the current C++ runtime libraries from Uncle Bill in case they had been overwritten. Only one program has been installed since the CPS and I removed it as well as the CPS, and then reinstalled. No difference.

OS is Win2k/SP4, computer is Dell Precision Workstation- dual Xeons and 2GB RAM. Worked flawlessly prior.

Ironically, the software for my EFJ 5100 still runs but to talk to the radio one of the processors must be turned off via task manager. This has always been the case though.

Anyone seen this? There was a flurry of Windows Updates a few days ago- I don't know if this is related but CPS was running a week or so ago when last used.

Any tips will be appreciated!
