1225 RSS and XP

Post by Rayjk110 »

I'm sitting here trying to read a couple M1225's and GR1225's, with a legitimate copy of the Radius 1225 Series RSS (CPS interface - Ver3.1) - using WindowsXP Professional - and I keep getting a Com error.

I can read and write a batch of CDM1550's with the same machine, cable, and RIB, and it works - so I don't see an issue with the cable.

Is the 1225 Series RSS even compatable with XP? The programming computer is an older Gateway P3 - so I figured it'd be slow enough.

What radios do you own?: Motorola/Kenwood

The version 3.1 1225 software will only work in Win 3.1/95/98. You will need version 4.0 if you're running Windows 2000 or XP.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Ah, well, that would make sense then.
