HT220 test cable NKD6001

Post by Astro Spectra »

This cable is used when testing the HT220 to match the HT220 antenna port to 50 ohms or so the ‘220 service manuals imply. I’m guessing that it was a quarter wave section of some custom impedance cable to transform to 50 ohms.

Does anyone know what the cable actually consisted of?

The 'kit' consisted of a 50 ohm coax with a BNC on one end and a adaptor that has a RF matching circuit. The one you mentioned is for VHF HT220, 210 and MT500 series radios.

I think I still have a few matching adaptors new old stock.
