Cps and Mts2000

Post by rankin6 »

I have CPS 1.10 that wrote ham freqs to my Mts2000 Uhf no problem, But it will not write to my Mts2000 900 Mhz?

Will the newer version write it ?

Or will or can I now write it with a modified ham rss if I can find it?

Has anyone been able to write to the Mtsx9000 using Cps?

Or is the 9000 rss only?

That depends -- what is the firmware version of your 900Mhz?

Hmmmm. I was thinking if the firmware was an earlier release, that it might be DOS only.

I don't see anything in the CPS readme file that restricts 900mhz portables, so maybe it's an internal (connector) issue with the radio?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

my money says you need a newer ver of CPS, IIRC 2.03 is the lastest rev.
