XTS5000 ID

Post by ymdogan »

Hi everyone,

I want to put IDs to XTS5000 radios which are using in conventional system.
Can anyone help me how I do it?

P.S. I want to put an ID and when a radio makes tx, I want it to send an ID to the other radios. So every user know which radio starts to talk..

Thank you for your help.

OK, the question is are you using IMBE, or conventional. Provide the flashcode of your radios to determine if you have digital ID display. If you do and are using IMBE you can use digital ID's.

Conventional channels (non-IMBE) you would most likely do it under signaling by setting up a MDC-1200 ID for each individual radio and turn that option on for the conventional personalities you want to us MDC with. This is a very simplified explanation of what you need to do. More information is available in the CPS Help Screens.
