Error 01/22 & No Prog Scan

Running an xts5000 800 M3 Host R9.00.05 / DSP R9.00.02 on power up getting Error 01/22 & again within a second - does not flash on the radio after the 2 times.

Programmed scan list does not work - Picked Prog on the cps menu list, assigned a scan list # to the personality. Prog does not show as an option in the radio menu. So programmed the a/b/c switch to go into program while in b - it does but only lets me recall the scan list i inputted in cps - not allowing the sel or del button to work. Scan list has 5 members so its not full. Followed the CPS rules on prog scan. The radio scans the ch's i put into the list using cps. Have never seen this prob in a radio, always assign prog to the menu & it always works flawlessly.

Maybe the 01/22 is causing the prog scan not to work? Have heard a display with C01 works with certain band splits & vocon boards? Will take a few mins later & take it apart to be sure everything is making contact correctly.

Anyone have an idea?

Not sure about the error, but as far as the scan list goes, try seeing if there's a setting for "Operator Select" under the options for that scan list. It should be under something called "List Members" or something similar. I'm not too familiar with the 5000's, but I know this is how it's setup in the 3000 CPS, and I'm sure scan lists are similar.

Tuning Codeplug Checksum Error

Try changing a value in Astro 25 tuner and save it. Hopefully by changing a value (and then change the value back again) the program will correct the errored checksum.

Otherwise, new RF board (since the tuning values are stored on the RF board.)

Many thanks for the replies!! Operator select fixed the scan problem & the tuner aligned the board correcting the error! It powers up & passes self test now!
