Just acquired another GM300 via eBay. Need help sorting out these problems:
Powers up with a beep-beep (not a beep and not a beep-boop). Hmmm...
The monitor light does not come on when no mike is attached.
The radio proceeds to scan furiously (with the channel numbers visible!).
None of the scan-related lights on the front panel are lit.
The radio doesn't respond to any of the front panel control push-buttons.
I've tried cloning from a known good radio, without effect.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you look inside? Isn't there a some kind of "trunking" board installed? (Like E-Trunk for example).
