Is Clonning an Option???
I've got 17 mobile radios (MCS2000) and 50 portable (HT1250) that will need to be programmed with new frequencies. Is there a shortcut that I can program each individual radio as a clone of the first radio??? I have the necessary software to program the radios..... I just didn't want to have to create each personality for each radio individually....

If they are the same model number it should not be too much of a problem. The Ht1250's don't offer a clone feature, but if you just hook up the next it will right the same data to the new radio , if the model number is the same. The MCS will have a clone menu, where you have to hook up the target radio and hit read serial number, then after that hit program and it will copy the data in. If you are using id's you have to check and see if the mcs copies them or not, I know the ht1250 will duplicate any id's used in it.

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

the above is correct for the most part if you are on a basic system but if you use an identifier you have to alter that for each radio too and if it's on a trunked system you couold have to alter the individual radio too depending on the system.
