HAVING TO PRESS THE PTT BUTTON TO RX ON EX600?
For some odd reason the only way I can listen to a frequency when I have the knob selector on that channel is to push the PTT button while it is being transmitted on, this is a RX channel only.. any ideas?

Do you have a RX signaling system selected for that personality? If you do, it sounds like you may have the Signaling Squelch set to "and". If so, change it to "or".

Is your radio on scan. Sometimes if the Rx channel is not in the scan list and you put your radio on scan you will not be able to hear this selected channel unless you press the PTT button because it not in the scan list.
How to fix it: Put that channel in the scan list and your set.
IDK?

Open the radio up and check for some screws that have fallen out or come loose from the main board. I see this all the time and it causes issues ranging from a brain dead radio, no tx, constant tx, acting like it is prgrammed for busy channel lock-out when it isn't and the list goes on.
Just had another this morning and see it about once a month. I think I might actually go ahead and open a GCC.
