No it cannot be upgraded to full keypad, but, you can program it to do DTMF signalling without the keypad. The CPS software allows you to set preset number sequences into it. I have 3 digit presets in there to dial up my dispatcher, and it works fine, you just can't dial new sequences on the fly.
