What radios do you own?: To many Motorola and Vertex

I am wondering if anyone has installed and or used this system yet.

We had an issue with our location and hitting a repeater for the State EOC and it was our idea to use our current landlines but we only have one pair left which is used as a backup incase the other lines fail. So the option we really had was a cross band radio but we now do not have to option to change channels. So after I looks around I thought of the Vega/Telex VoIP system. Well because this is being paid from DHS money it had to be Motorola. So now the next obsticle we have is network connectivity. The location where the radios will be located have Internet access as it is a elementry school. And out EOC has a Cablem Modem connection shared with our Town Hall. We are not worried about bandwidth at town hall as there are not many users when there is an emergency and our system would have a MAX or 5-10 connections at one time. And the school would most likely not be used while there is an emergency and when there is someone would most likely be there.

So the final part of the story is how much does a 4 or 8 radio system cost. We would only need one but we can progressivly upgrade each radio as time goes on.
