Minitor IV or V to 147 Mhz

Post by n2jve »

Hi all,

Thanks for Reading. Im hope that i'm in the right section. I looking to see if the Minitor IV or V can be programmed to 147Hmz portion of the Ham band without major reconstruction or software upgrades? My ham club is looking to set a pager system in place for ARES/RACES. You can e-mail me direct at [email protected]. Thanks very much in advance for taking your time to respond back.

The minitor IV & V shows a lower bandsplit of 143-167mhz with a maximum spread of 8mhz for the programmed frequencies.

Thanks alot for the info. Haven't dealt with the Minitors in years and the one I had was a
Minitor II and thats when it first came out. Is there a site that I can refer to cross reference the ID # for the Minitors and to find out splits etc. ? I'm new to this site and haven't explored it all as of yet. Getting ready to go to Vegas in a couple of days so thats where my head is right now LOL. Thanks again for your Reply back.
