Howdy, I have a B5 UHF spectra that powers up but I receive an error code of "001". The help section from Bat says "See Synthesizer Troubleshooting". Hopefully someone would help head me in the right direction to correct this problem. Thanks in advance.

FAIL 001 means that the radio can't tune to the frequency that it is programmed to. Does it do this on every channel, or just a few? If it's just a few, those are probably outside the range of what the radio can do without modification. When you read the radio with the proper software, it will tell you what the frequency range of the radio is, and what each channel frequency is. If all channels show FAIL 001, it's very likely that there is a hardware problem, and an RF board will have to be replaced.
