M1225 Speaker replacement? How difficult?

Post by firefighter2000 »

How difficult is it to replace the speaker in an M1225? A friend of mine is wanting to know. It beeps when turned on... loud & clear, but he insists the speaker is blown. Any advice?
Thanks

Once you have the replacement in hand, you may need maybe 30 seconds. Remove the volume knob, slide the cover off, unplug old and plug in the new. Slide the cover back on again and reattach the volume knob. No screws. Very simple job.
