CDM 1250 LD MOS PA

Post by arlojanis »

I am replacing the LD MOS PA in a VHF CDM1250. The old one broke during removal and I trashed it. I now have the new one. How do I identify the input side and the output side of the new amp?

If you look at the bottom of the new pa where the connections are folded over you will notice that one of the center connections has a corner clipped off. That is the output. The one that is a rectangle is the input.

OK, thanks. That was my guess. Like the collector tab with the clipped corner on power transistors.
