Single Channel InteliRepeater

Post by GEMOTO »

Hi Guys,

I am trying to set up a single channel IR. I have a Quantar with the proper firmware etc. I programmed it but after the station reset it did nothing, no site trunking, no nothing. This si not connected to any kind of controller, its just in a rack by itself.

What are the key things in setting this up? I am using the "voice on control channel" feature.

Thanks.

What radios do you own?: Kenwood, Yaesu, ICOM, Motorola

Perhaps it's impossible to have a Single Channel IntelliRepeater. I always though you would need to purchase two stations so the configuration performs correctly. To my way of thinking, it would be like ordering a one receiver comparator, "What's it going to compare too?"

I've never heard of that feature, but I still say you need 2 channels.
