MSR 2000 C73KSB

Post by ki4ccz »

Hi All,

I have bought a C73KSB-6105AT MSR 2000. I am interested in turning this unit into a VHF ham repeater. I have seen contridicting info on the forums about the MSR 2000 and the frequency range. I need some clear info on what exactly I have. This unit is currently on 155.22 mHz. My coordinated frequency for the ham repeater is 145.21/144.61. Will this unit be able to align the reciever and exciter to this frequency? Will this unit need any modification?

BTW: This used to be a repeater until it was converted into a base station. It has the continuous duty amplifier.
