Privacy plus smartnet

If you have a GTX 800 mhz radio and it is privacy plus will it still work on a smartnet system

Yes, the GTX is capable of both Type I & Type II trunking, so will work on older Type I PP systems, as well as newer Type II PP & SmartNet systems.

Just to add two bits more to Todd's reply: as long as the SmartNet system doesn't use control channels above 865 and as long as you don't need to use the SmartNet features/options.
