New XTS3000 firmware, R07.71.06 DSP 08.03.05

New XTS3000 firmware, R07.71.06 DSP 08.03.05

I just received a firmware refresh package for the XTS3000. I now see the firmware rev is now R07.71.06 and DSP 08.03.05.

Does anyone know what has been updated with new .06 host, and .05 DSP?

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Yes I did mean 7.71, the CD has the mobile firmware also, and it is 11.71.06. I must have looked at that and had a brain fart.

Anyway, anytime I see something new from Moto like this, I just wonder what it will do for a "whored" radio. I do know that I can't upgrade the firmware (at least with R07.71.0) with the whore flash in the radio.
