Motorola 1340 Convertacom

I have a Motorola MTVA Convertacom, i was wondering if there is anyway to connect it to power without using an amp. i want to use it as a cup with an external antenna, no amp.

I think at the minimum you need the NTN1322 non-band specific control unit and interconnect cable. This supplies regulated dc power to the 1340 and I think also does the audio amp function for the amplified speaker.
